Surface preparation is most of the job. Done properly, contamination releases more easily and the finish holds far longer between services.
A coating is only ever as good as the surface underneath it. Applied over contaminated or uncorrected paint, it locks the defects in and you live with them for the life of the coating. The application itself is the short part of the job — preparation is where the result is decided.

Not included
A coating is not armour. It does not prevent chips, hangar rash or damage, and it needs maintenance washes to perform as intended.

How long does an aircraft ceramic coating last?
Realistically two to four years depending on utilisation, storage and how it is maintained. Anyone promising a decade is selling you something. Coated aircraft still need correct maintenance washes.
Will it make the aircraft easier to clean?
Yes, that is the main practical benefit our clients report. Bug residue and environmental contamination release with far less mechanical effort, which means gentler washes and less marring over time.
Do I still need to wash the aircraft?
Yes, and washing it correctly is what makes the coating last. A coating reduces effort, it does not eliminate maintenance.
